Get Exchange Rate

Returns the current exchange rate for a crypto/fiat pair, plus the converted value for the requested amount.

Two pricing modes

Mode	How	What you get
Indicative	Omit `customerId`	The general market rate — for display, tickers, connectivity tests
Customer-specific	Pass `customerId`	The rate priced for that customer (fee tier / spread applied)

⚠️ Important

The returned rate is indicative only — it is not a tradeable commitment and can move at any moment. To lock a price, create a firm quote with POST /api/v1/quote and place the order while it is valid.

Both assets are validated before any pair lookup: anything outside ^[A-Za-z0-9]{1,10}$ is rejected with 422 rather than looked up as a pair.
